iPad art for January 2012: Armadillo by Alexander McQueen

This month's screensaver is 1 of the most talked about shoes in history: the iconic Armadillo. It made its debut in the Alexander McQueen s/s 2010 collection show in October 2009. They were described as ' The shoes - likened to armadillos, crabs' claws and goats' feet by some sections of the press -'. Here you can admire their truly towering height. 
But they were also made famous by Lady Gaga and by a great fan & muse of McQueen, the artist Daphne Guinness.
